Today is National Ag Day, with events scheduled in Washington, DC to highlight agriculture’s role in feeding, clothing and fueling the world. As part of the Ag Day celebration, the Agriculture Council of America asked high school students to participate in an essay and video contest. Below is the winning video submitted by Diane Gress, an 11th grader from Shreve, Ohio. Congrats Diane for showing how one voice can make a difference!

Stand Up and Be Heard

FMC Corporation wants ag students to Stand Up and Be Heard, and in turn, those students could win scholarships. Just record yourself singing the National Anthem and send the video to FMC. Final Hurdles for E15

USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack

“We need a Farm Bill. We need it now.” That was the message USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack had for growers at Commodity Classic in Nashville. In a one-on-one interview with Mike Adams, the Secretary said he does not want to hear about how difficult it is to pass a Farm Bill.
